Feasibility Assessment committe set up by NTCA for Kumbhalgarh
Jaipur, 24 July : Feasibility Assessment Committe has been set up for Kumbhalgarh to find out the possibilities that how the Wildlife Sanctuary can be upgraded to Tiger Reserve.
NTCA's Deputy Inspector General of Forest Sonali Ghosh on the recommendation of Diya Kumari MP from Rajsamand had set up a 3 member and 1 convenor committee.
The committe includes :
- R.N. Mehrotra IFS (retd.) Member
- N.K. Vasu IFS (retd.) Member
- Kaushik Banerjee P.hd Scientist Tiger cell WII Member
- Hemant Kamdi AIG, NTCA as Member Convenor
Diya Kumari also raised the issue of Kumbhalgarh to be developed as tiger reserve in Loksabha also.
