collector to develop Sawai Madhopur-Shivpuri tourist circuit, both made a plan, Sawai Madhopur, 28 July. Ranthambore Tiger Reserve Park is becoming increasingly popular among domestic and foreign tourists. Now District Collector Rajendra Kishan has prepared a special action plan to divert the tourists visiting Madhav Park and Kuno National Park in Shivpuri towards Ranbhambore.Rajendra Kishan went to Shivpuri recently and met the collector Akshay Kumar Singh, wildlife and tourism experts and tour and travel operators and had a preliminary discussion on this action plan. Now both the collectors will discuss this with the respective state governments. If the state governments agree, a proposal to develop Sawai Madhopur-Shivpuri tourism circuit will be sent to the Union Ministry of Tourism.Collector Rajendra Kishan told that if this becomes a tourist circuit, then the economy of both the districts will get a lot of boost. This will be a win-win situation for both the districts. If 50 percent tourists visiting Shivpuri and 50 percent visiting Ranthambore also visit both the places, then tourism will get a lot of boom. When the Collector proposed to Shivpuri Collector Akshay Kumar Singh that he should come to Sawai Madhopur with a delegation from Shivpuri, to see the wealth of forest and wildlife and tourist places,this would facilitate them in developing tourist places in Shivpuri, so the Shivpuri collector gladly accepted the invitation. He will also discuss with the tour and travel operators of Sawai Madhopur during this visit. During the visit, Sawaimadhopur Collector also informed about the importance of historical, wildlife and religious tourist places of Ranthambore Fort, Khandar, Chauth Ka Barwada, Shivad, Surwal, Kushalipura. He said that between 2010 and 2019, the number of tourists visiting this place has increased by two and a half times.

Discussions are going on in both the districts to develop Sawai Madhopur-Shivpuri as a wildlife hub/tourism circuit. After seeing places like Scindia Chhatri, Sailing Club, National Park, Bhadaiya Kund, District Museum in Shivpuri, Sawai Madhopur Collector said during a discussion on Sailing Club with Shivpuri Collector that if the tourist circuit from Sawai Madhopur to Shivpuri and Shivpuri to Orchha is ready. If done, it will be very important from the point of view of economic development of both the districts.
सवाई माधोपुर-शिवपुरी पर्यटन सर्किट विकसित करने के लिए सवाई माधोपुर कलेक्टर मिले शिवपुरी कलेक्टर से, दोनों ने बनाया प्लान,
रणथम्भौर टाइगर रिजर्व पार्क देशी-विदेशी पर्यटकों के बीच लगातार लोकप्रिय होता जा रहा है। अब शिवपुरी के माधव पार्क एवं कूनो नेशनल पार्क में आने वाले पर्यटकों को भी रणभम्भौर की ओर मोडने के लिये जिला कलेक्टर राजेन्द्र किशन ने विशेष कार्य योजना तैयार की है। कलेक्टर राजेन्द्र किशन ने पिछले दिनों शिवपुरी जाकर वहॉं के कलेक्टर अक्षय कुमार सिंह, वन्य जीव और पर्यटन के विशेषज्ञों और टूर एंड ट्रेवल ऑपरेटर्स से मुलाकात कर इस कार्य योजना पर प्रारम्भिक चर्चा की। अब दोनों कलेक्टर सम्बंधित राज्य सरकारों से इस बाबत चर्चा करेंगे। राज्य सरकारें सहमत हुई तो केन्द्रीय पर्यटन मंत्रालय को सवाईमाधोपुर-शिवपुरी पर्यटन सर्किट विकसित करने का प्रस्ताव भेजा जायेगा।
कलेक्टर राजेन्द्र किशन ने बताया कि यह पर्यटन सर्किट बन गया तो दोनों जिलों की अर्थव्यवस्था को बहुत बूस्ट मिलेगा। यह दोनों जिलों के लिये विन-विन सिचुएशन होगी। शिवपुरी आने वाले 50 प्रतिशत और रणथम्भौर आने वाले 50 प्रतिशत भी पर्यटक दोनों स्थानों की विजिट करें तो पर्यटन को बहुत बूम मिलेगा।
कलेक्टर ने जब शिवपुरी कलेक्टर अक्षय कुमार सिंह को प्रस्ताव दिया कि वे शिवपुरी से एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल लेकर सवाई माधोपुर आएं, वन और वन्य जीव की संपदा और पर्यटक स्थलों को निहारे, इससे उन्हें शिवपुरी में पर्यटक स्थलों को विकसित करने में सुविधा होगी तो शिवुपरी कलेक्टर ने आमंत्रण को सहर्ष स्वीकार कर लिया। वे इस विजिट के दौरान सवाईमाधोपुर के टूर एंड ट्रेवल ऑपरेटरों से भी चर्चा करेंगे।
यात्रा के दौरान सवाईमाधोपुर कलेक्टर ने रणथम्भौर फोर्ट, खंडार, चौथ का बरवाडा, शिवाड, सूरवाल, कुशालीपुरा के ऐतिहासिक, वाइल्ड लाइफ और धार्मिक पर्यटन स्थलों के महत्व की भी जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि वर्ष 2010 से 2019 के बीच यहॉं आने वाले पर्यटकों की संख्या सवा 2 गुना हो गयी है। विश्वभर की सेलेब्रिटी के लिये यह वेडिंग और वेकेशन प्लेस के रूप में उभरा है। टाइगर की दहाड के लिये मशहूर इस पार्क को जिले की अर्थव्यवस्था की लाइफलाइन माना जा सकता है। पर्यटको के विश्राम हेतु झूमर बावड़ी व विनायक होटल, रा.प.वि.नि. द्वारा संचालित की जा रही हैं। जिले में हैरिटेज होटल, बजट श्रेणी होटल व अन्य लग्जरी होटल सहित लगभग दौ सौ से अधिक होटल हैं।
दरअसल जबसे कूनो में चीता और शिवपुरी नेशनल पार्क में टाइगर लाने की कवायद शुरू हुई है तब से सवाईमाधोपुर-शिवपुरी वाइल्ड लाइफ हब/पर्यटन सर्किट के रूप में विकसित करने की दोनों जिलों में चर्चा चल रही है। शिवपुरी में सिंधिया छतरी, सेलिंग क्लब, नेशनल पार्क, भदैया कुंड, जिला संग्रहालय जैसे स्थलों को देखने के बाद सवाईमाधोपुर कलेक्टर ने शिवपुरी कलेक्टर से सेलिंग क्लब पर चर्चा के दौरान कहा कि यदि सवाई माधोपुर से शिवपुरी और शिवपुरी से फिर ओरछा का टूरिस्ट सर्किट तैयार हो जाए तो दोनों जिलों के आर्थिक विकास के दृष्टिकोण से बेहद अहम होगा।
